You may also use one of our computers to file a UI claim over the Internet.

resources? Not at all. netWORKri staff will help you learn how to use our resource room software even if you've never sat down in front of a computer. In addition, we offer workshops designed to give even more computer instruction to those customers who need it. |

layout, enhance the ability of those with disabilities to receive the
full benefit of what netWORKri has to offer. |

netWORKri staff will conduct an assessment of your employment and career
needs and recommend options. These may include participation in a training
program, either in a classroom setting or on-the-job. |

possible for netWORKri to pay for any training course or education in
which you have already enrolled. |

Will my UI payments stop if I enter a training program? If you become
enrolled in a training program through netWORKri, you will continue to
receive your UI while in training. However, attending school on your own
may result in an interruption or cessation of your UI benefits. Futher

I have to live in Rhode Island to use ? There are no residency or work location requirements limiting access to basic netWORKri services. |

Being out of the labor market for any length of time presents special challenges to a job seeker. netWORKri staff will help you evaluate your skills and experience and relate them to what employers are looking for today. Learning how to present yourself to an employer in a positive and effective manner can often compensate for lack of recent work history. |

you have any part-time jobs for students or retirees? Many employers in the area are looking for part-time workers and those jobs are listed in our computers. In addition, netWORKri partners who specialize in serving the retired job seeker are available in the offices for consultation and advice. We also offer tours and job-hunting tips for student groups. |

do not have a high school diploma - can Academic
instruction, including preparation for a GED, is available at netWORKri.
It is best to call a particular office to find out what educational services
are offered there, as schedules may differ depending upon location. |
